SHELDON (CNS) — Mrs. Marie Ewen, 77, of 390 E. Center, died at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 24, 1975) at the George Ade Extended Care Facility in Brook, Ind., following an illness of six months. Born April 10, 1897, in Warren County, Ind., she was the daughter of Frank and Maude Coodrick McIntosh. She married William Ewen Dec. 16, 1920. He died in 1968. Survivors include two sons, Donald of Eugene, Ore., and Jim of Normal; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Deardusf on Morocco, Ind., Mrs. Donald (Vera) Dewing of Sheldon and Miss Letha Ewen of Lakeland, Fla.; three brothers, Harold of Fowler, Ind., Estel of Williamsport, Ind., and Paul of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Hubert (Dorothy) Foster of Boswell, Ind., and Mrs. Glen (Edith) Bribble of Williamsport; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the DeValk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Hart officiating. Burial will be in Sheldon Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
